Thank you for choosing to train with Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before purchasing a course. By purchasing a training course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Booking & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on a training course.

Payment can be made in full or via Klarna/Clearpay, subject to eligibility and approval by the provider.

Training dates are arranged after purchase and will be agreed directly between the student and Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy.

Your place is not secured until payment has been successfully received.

Training Dates

Once a course has been purchased, Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy will contact you to arrange a suitable training date.

Students are asked to provide suitable availability where possible to assist with scheduling.

Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate preferred dates, training dates are subject to availability.

Cancellations & Refunds

All training course purchases are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

Due to the nature of training courses, preparation time, administration, course materials and reserved training dates, refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal circumstances

  • Illness

  • Work commitments

  • Failure to attend

  • Failure to arrange a training date

  • Inability to complete the course

By purchasing a course, you acknowledge and accept that all sales are final.

Rescheduling

If you need to change your agreed training date, a minimum of 14 days' notice is required.

One course transfer may be permitted at the discretion of Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy.

Additional date changes may incur an administration fee.

Requests made with less than 14 days' notice may result in the loss of your training place and any payments made.

Attendance

Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared for their training day.

Late arrival may result in training time being reduced.

Failure to attend a booked training session without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and no refund, transfer or replacement date will be offered.

Course Requirements

Beginner courses are suitable for complete beginners unless otherwise stated.

Students booking advanced courses, e-file training or masterclasses should ensure they meet any prerequisite requirements before purchasing.

It is the student's responsibility to select the most appropriate course for their current level of experience.

Certification

Certificates will be awarded upon successful completion of the training course and demonstration of the required practical skills.

Certification confirms that training has been completed but does not guarantee employment, income, clients, business success or future earnings.

Ongoing Support

Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy is committed to supporting students following their training.

Ongoing support may include guidance relating to treatments, products, techniques, client care and business advice.

Support is offered at the academy's discretion and response times may vary during busy periods.

Photography & Marketing

Photographs and videos may be taken during training sessions for educational, promotional and marketing purposes, including use on social media platforms and the academy website.

Students who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos must notify Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy before training begins.

Liability

Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expenses incurred during or after training except where required by law.

Students are responsible for following all health and safety procedures and instructions provided during training.

Right to Refuse Training

Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy reserves the right to refuse training, terminate a training session or remove a student from a course if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, abusive, threatening or unsafe.

In such circumstances, no refund will be provided.

Course Content

Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy reserves the right to amend, improve, update or modify course content, training materials, manuals and course structures at any time without prior notice.

Such changes are made to ensure students receive the highest quality training possible.

Academy Disclaimer

Whilst every effort is made to provide students with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to begin or progress within the nail industry, Demie Joanna Beauty & Training Academy cannot guarantee:

  • Employment opportunities

  • Client numbers

  • Business success

  • Income levels

  • Future earnings

Individual success depends on many factors including practice, commitment, business knowledge, marketing and personal effort.

By purchasing a course through this website, you confirm that:
